What would happen if the fundamental attribution error (defined below) was reversed in all aspects of human judgment to the fullest extent possible?
The answer is obvious, fat fuck you organic blunts rolled by liberated women, then immediate WORLD PEACE, then butt-nakedness on a unhealthy scale!!!! Yet soon thereafter (and oddly) accelerated scientific innovation that will make the discoveries of the last 100 years seem like a complete waste of time. SO: Today, try seeing things from THAT OTHER MONKEYS POINT OF VIEW, AND IM NOT TALKING ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE PHYSICALLY SEEING, BUT SEE WHERE THEY CAME FROM, SEE THEIR PAST, SEE THEIR PRESENT, SEE THE REASONS THEY HAVE FOR DOING THE SHIT THEY DO, FEEL WHAT ITS LIKE TO TRAVEL IN THEIR SKIN, THIS IS THE TRUE MARK OF THE REVOLUTION IN MIND AND EVOLUTION ITSELF IN OUR ABILITY TO EMPATHY IS . IT IS YOUR DUTY to stop playing the god you may choose to believe or not believe in, and fucking think with the braincells you have been given only ONCE RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW, SPEAK UP, OR WASTE IT ON NEUROTIC BULLSHIT AND SOCIAL TABOOS YOUR WHOLE LIFE, SAY WHAT YOU WANNA SAY, YOU ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT WILL DIE IN A MATTER OF HOURS (HOW MANY IS UNKNOWN) SO STOP GIVING A FUCK. SERIOUSLY!!!! STOP IT. SMARTEN UP. STOP JUDGING. STOP NEEDING TO JUDGE TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF. STOP THINKING YOU DONT JUDGE AND TAKE STOCK OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND HOW YOU ARE PERCEIVING YOUR ENVIRONMENT!!! YOU NAKED BASTARD SPAWNS OF THE GREAT MOTHER. ITS SPEAKING THROUGH THIS THING -THEY- CALL ME FOR YOU TO HEAR. (INSERT OBLIGATORY APOLOGY FOR GRATUITOUS CAP USE).
In social psychology, the fundamental attribution error (also known as correspondence bias or attribution effect) describes the tendency to over-value dispositional or personality-based explanations for the observed behaviors of others while under-valuing situational explanations for those behaviors. The fundamental attribution error is most visible when people explain the behavior of others. It does not explain interpretations of one's own behavior—where situational factors are often taken into consideration. This discrepancy is called theactor-observer bias. The term was coined by Lee Ross some years after a now-classic experiment by Edward E. Jones and Victor Harris (1967). Ross argued in a popular paper that the fundamental attribution error forms the conceptual bedrock for the field of social psychology.
Jones wrote that he found Ross's term "overly provocative and somewhat misleading", and also joked, "Furthermore, I'm angry that I didn't think of it first." More recently some psychologists, including Daniel Gilbert, have begun using the term "correspondence bias" for the fundamental attribution error.
