As new polls are released by the Chicago Times showing that Obama is more widely revered then Jesus, its somewhat unsettling to witness the massive stockpiling and military investment and preparation that is underway that will likely exploit this blind faith to the fullest extent possible. Fadsmashers takes no issue with Obama being bigger then Jesus, at least the former can be proven to exist, but its how the hype will be harnessed that has the doomsday subculture in a panic.

To give you a sense of what to expect militarily from the Obama administration who is the only president to have retained the secretary of defense of the previous administration, here are a things to take into consideration.

-A pledged (and likely to increase) 17,000 troops to be sent to Afghanistan

-A stay in Iraq that is likely to exceed the 2012 goal proposed last year.

-Members of the US Congress have an estimated 200 million invested in "defense" companies, no conflict of interest there!

-Lockheed martin, Boeing, General Dynamics, and Northrop grunman have donated nearly 40 million total to both McCain and Obama camps.

-The US military expenditures total that of all the world combined, with a 2009 budget teetering on the brink of 1 trillion dollars (more then stimulus package)

-A civilian national security force (similar to that of North Korea) should shit decide to be hit by fan.

-Obama has pledged to carry out the task outline in the Project for the New American Century, pledging to rebuild Americas army, as if the trillion dollar most advanced army in the world is somehow in need of rebuilding!?
