AbsoFKNlutley nothing whatsoever
You still water the concrete, and your massive engineered lawns you simply look at.
You still consume in a gluttonus cuthroat haste the non-renewable resources from poor countries because its cheap and convenient for you to do so.
You still cut down the forest at a rate of an acre per second.
You still have exhausted the oceans fish and numerous mammalian species humans once subsisted off of the world over.
You still genetically modify foods, while reducing the genetic diversity of agricultural species. You engage in unsustainable agricultural practices.
You still rely on Big agri, Big Pharma, Big Chema and big business in general to meet your conditioned needs.
You still drive a car that runs on an obsolete fuel source, that is designed to impress not last.
You still celebrate and partake in impractical rituals like sporting events and holydays which you compliment with excessive materialism and fanaticism.
You still contaminate the rivers with your toxic residue which leads to biomagnified contamination of food... and hence you.
You still assist in the extermination, extinction and unnatural transportation and reintroduction of species into foreign environments while degrading their natural environments.
You still pump the airwaves full of every kind of radiation from A to Z.
You are still polluting the air.
You still bury your own biological contribution in a pine box, that takes hundreds of years to breakdown.
You still waste resources on weapons to destroy one another.
You still alter the landscape with your cities, dams, and invisible lines in the sand.
You still WASTE.
SO KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN PATTING YOURSELF ON THE BACK FOR DEBUNKING CLIMATE CHANGE!!! THIS CANNOT BE OVERSTATED!!!!
Corbett (below) emphasizes that environmentalism has been hijacked. Well no shit. Everything has been hijacked. Corbett emphasizes we focus on GMO's and cancer rates as well as toxic dumping, infertility and anything woven into the selfish misinterpretions of judeochristian philosophy. lest he forget the redundance of the OIL industry, and all of the other indubitable aforementioned points, which seldom, if ever, is addressed by those of his political feather.
I realize we are trying to save the environment, not for its own sake, but for OUR OWN sake, so that we can continue to exist. Without recognition and persistant focus on everything I have mentioned this will not happen. We will bleed ourselves dry, while the rich continue to prepare themselves in the thick of this free for all, for this unsustainable civilizations imminent downfall.
