Atheist billboards were introduced for the purpose of galvanizing the now depressed, xenophobic, non-rebelling, while gun-toting religious right. The ads are being funded by a group of self-proclaimed non-religious people (called atheists) that think this equally ignorant (I.e. religious) and doubly arrogant stance of non-theism, somehow does anything but bring them a false sense of confidence in their materially bound sense of self-worth.
