BP – official sponsor of the 2010 FIFA World Cup ™
In June 2008 BP announced that it had signed a contract to be the Official Fuel Sponsor for the 2010 FIFA World Cup ™ and for the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2009. This is the largest sponsorship deal that BP has undertaken in its 100 year history as an organisation.
This 30 day soccer spectacle popularly dubbed the largest show on earth will be hosted in South Africa, the first time it we will be held on African soils in its 80 year history. BP is proud to be the official fuel supplier and sees this partnership as an opportunity to demonstrate the BP brand in action on a global platform.
