Never mind the ridiculous title of this documentary which is actually the opposite of what is occurring, review some quotes from it.
Some quotes from the "movie"
"This wealth, we've chosen not to give it to our kids (only most of it) or buy all sorts of mansions (just my 135 million dollar one) we are getting it back to society in a way that can have the most positive impact (on our investments which we will hand down to our kids)." BILL GATES
"I think there are opportunities to invest in this new paradigm (old pyradigm) , that are great investment oppurtunities, so we hope to make a great deal in, return in addition to doing good for the environment" VINOD KHOSLA
If anyone hasn't noticed it was this profit driven thinking that created the problem in the first place, I am assuming that poor people are lumped into the environment category or something. This is not philanthropy, this is called rich people doing whatever they have to do to keep you from dethroning them!!!
I have to commend the films use of the term philanthrocapitalism that was neat. Normalizing but neat.
