Not only has all the oil "vanished" it has now been found that not fishing (I mean dumping oil into oceans) is actually beneficial to the biome. Tony Hayward was right, the oil has naturally diffused (hidden in the depths using chemical dispersant's), and the images you see are images of the actual leak itself, oil spills are good for the environment as they prevent humans from consuming it.
