I recently committed facebook suicide. It was hard leaving behind that alter ego and its friends, my real friends, my status record, my links, photos, and all the other surreality it brings. I also believe my webpage had a few trojans in the mix. You get to adding and inviting and becoming such an anti-social butterfly that you end up letting in alot of people you shouldnt have.

I am through living in that virtual playpen built for good little slaves, with their slave toys (applications) egoism, those newsfeed eyes over confident and purched on their swivel chair, its imagined audience, and false promises of "connecting me to people in my life".

If I were to rely on my oppressors tools of oppression to get my voice heard I wouldnt win.

I raised myself on the street. And I will raise myself on the internet.

Upon leaving facebook the program had the nerve to show me pictures of all my friends, and how much they would miss me. It had their avatars and a little message posted over each, saying "so and so will miss you". As if they ever knew me, as if its the only way (which it is fast becoming).

As I have explained before the service does more bad then good. The upcoming changes to facebook will be so gradual and incremental that before you know it all you will see is what they want you to see. Not that seeing what they didnt want you to see has amounted to anything but a bunch of wannabee captains at the helm of their keyboards, broadcasting every passing thought for other kiddies to hear. I have a website for that anyways!

Facebook is a drug. It is not real. It will not connect you with people. It will not aid social progress. It is a there to control you. Every time you log on, its like going for a hit of some good shit, to see if you can get 'there' again. The dealer laughs at you, and pretends to be your friend. But he isnt. Hes your worst enemy.

Nathan Human is not dead. He grew out of those clothes, and I am not saying you should follow, THINK FOR YOURSELF... regardless you will come to this conclusion soon enough. Like all addicts do.

The day is coming my friends. So after you go and get laid and do dumb shit...
