Augmented reality is expected to be the next big thing in oppressive tech and will surely be taken for granted  before the end of 2010. Google is planning on releasing a new software for its android phones which will allow users to take a snapshot of any person place or thing and google will assess the image and conduct a search based on what it derives from the scan. The idea is that this snap and search option will enhance ones reality whilst making life easier by informing the idiot that will soon be dependent on the service what is happening in front of their eyes. If you ask me its the first phase of weaning out that nuissance of a visual sense always looking and gazing where it shouldnt. Its definetly something that needs to be regulated... unlike money lenders.
