IBM (the company known for selling the Nazis a Hollerith machine) has announced that it will assist the US government in making electronic circuits that can mimic brains (Instead of funding programs which would allow people to evolve their own consciousness and decision making abilities). The technology hopes to endow machines with this capacity as by that time virtually bound humans won’t be able to. They plan on implementing the knowledge of how neurons (brain cells) work into a computer simulation, and eventually will make an electronic system which functions like those simulations do, to take up the reigns of law enforcement and integrate it into SWORDS robots. When that time comes… run for the shaved hills and take cover in the clear cuts!
