Many of you will have no doubt been exposed to the online news service russiatoday.com. They cover a wide range of contraversial topics ranging from 9/11 coverups, H1N1 contraversies, big brother, US imperialism and all the rest, and they do it all with a seamless professionalism that is tapped by shock jocks abroad to support their agendas. In addition they tend to engage in postive reporting on supposed 'underground/ contraversial" issues, they also tend to interview people like Alex Jones, anyone from We Are Change, Ron Paul, and everyone else associated with that whole libertarian clique. It would appear at first glance that they endorse everything these Libertarians say and are actively aiding in stirring the unrest in the United States. However they also recently conducted an interview with the leader of the US communist party in which they also seem to be endorsing...
Russia Today is funded by RIA-NOVOSTI, a Russian state run media agency based in Moscow...
So why is it that a media agency that critics have condemned as having ties to the kremlin, interested in promoting Libertarian upheaval in the United States? Why is that Alex Jones taps RT whenever it is convenient?
The story of the Russian-NATO enmnity becomes more confusing when we investigate Russias ties to Israel via Israels deputy prime minister (and Russian Born) Aviger Leiberman... His father served in the Red army. Leiberman (who is ironically affiliated with the Right wing Likud party of Israel) has been criticized for his racist statements about "minorities" and has been used as a target to legitimate more left-wing Israeli groups and politicians (who contrary to their progressive politics still remain supporters of Zionism). It begs the question as to what is the real Russian stance on Zionism (I say Russian assuming that there is come collective entity refered to as Russia that share a common purpose that is at odds with the western world) i.e. Not a bunch of elites from all countries making backalley deals to fuel the military industrial complex...
So we have this tie between Russia and Israel, and now we have Russia Today (funded by Russia) trying to stir up unrest and assisting in the co-opted/ controlled revolution that is going on in the United States.
If you ask me...
RT is an easy target for right wing groups in the USA, it can be easily written off as soviet propaganda whenever the time is ripe, thus fueling the rhetorical dialetic even more.
WTF is going on here folks? How can we trust a news agency that is endorsing a controlled revolution in the US?
