Economic sanctions like of cutting off corrupt IMF/ world bank predatory lending to the region have insured that the social conditions have gotten bad enough to spawn cholera epidemics. Mugabe wanted to take back the farm land stolen by the previous colonialists and redistribute it to his population, which is being hyped up as being the cause of the current economic crisis, i.e. not the special interests of 'developed' countries who have ensured a global boycott of the slumping fake economy! Now the UN is using their proxy African Union affiliates to threaten to oust Mugabe, if he doesn’t buckle to the will of multinational interests like they did. In an attempt to resist having his nations resource wealth privatized by multinational corporations, and and stifle a countries desire to nationalize its resources and be a sovereign nation not dependent on the global patchwork of rich assholes who want to run the world, Mugabe is likened to the devil on ziovision, and threatened to be attacked by the African Union for not complying like they did.
