A new article details how rabbis circulated religious propoganda to IDF soldiers with the usual 'we were that they were Gods chosen people, who were chosen to defend the land, and that their mission was to rid the area of gentiles' speil. Perhaps this narrative of religious brainwashing sounds familiar....  Holy war anyone?

Israel defense minister has told BBC reporters that he believes Israel to be the most moral army in the world... moral in the sense of not just killing everyone with their US made atomic bombs and taking the land right away! Rather a humanitarian slowkill, a demoralizing, degrading plight which will force the oppressed population to give them reasons to be less moral in their imperialism... In an attempt to avoid channeling a small portion of their annual US aid to Gaza to rebuild, Israel wont pass up an oppurtunity to blame Arab countries for the mess they themselves created!
